Terms and Conditions
Booking
The person booking the cottage and agreeing to these terms and conditions is responsible for all persons staying at the cottage. We have the right to refuse any persons from staying at the cottage and are entitled to ask persons to leave if they fail to meet these terms and conditions.
Payment
To secure your booking, we need the booking fee in full. We will then need the full amount including the damage deposit 6 weeks before check in if not already paid. We accept BACs transfer or cards via Square Up (3.5% service fee).
Cancellations
You can cancel your booking with a full refund up to 6 weeks before your check in date. If you cancel your booking with 6 weeks of your check in date we will refund you your damage deposit back in full but there is no refund on the booking fee. We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time.
Damage Deposit
For direct bookings and bookings through Booking.com we require a fully refundable damage deposit of £300, we return this on day of check out.
Cleaning and Damage
Please leave the cottage clean and tidy, if left in a unfair state we will take an additional cleaning fee. Please report any breakages and damage you notice on arrival or you may be charged a fair amount for repair or replacement. We don’t usually charge for most things but it also helps our changeover if we know.
Number of people using the holiday cottage
The maximum number of people that can stay at the cottage is 4 adults and 1 infant. We do not allow parties.
Arrival and Departure
Check in is 4pm and checkout is 10am.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage or on the premises. Candles are also not permitted to be used at the property.
Key
There is a £20 loss of key fee.
Pets
We allow 2 small or 1 medium sized dog, but we may consider 2 medium dogs if you contact us. We do not accept cats or other pets. We charge a £25 fee, payable on booking. Any dog poo found in the garden will be charged at £20 per poo.
Electric Cars
We have access to a plug socket in the driveway and ask for a £20 contribution payable on booking.
